Between and , the Smallholder Dairy Project (SDP) carried out research and development activities to support sustainable improvements to the livelihoods of poor Kenyans through their participation in the dairy sub-sector. Improving dairy farm management at smallholder farmers’ level is among the constraints that got attention in the project. The project provided capacity development support to dairy extension service providers and dairy farmers as one of the approach to realize this. The preparation of this module is continuation of this effort.
